Magazines in the ’90s

Ever notice how every new print magazine always starts the editorial section with something along the general lines of “Print is not dead”?

And remember how in the ’90s, every online magazine launched with an editorial saying something to the effect of “Print is about to die”?

The fact that I can’t easily share the editorial I was reading when I thought about this is just one of the reasons that we were right in the ’90s and we’re wrong now.

But just because it’s not easy doesn’t mean I won’t do it. It was the editorial on the second issue of Delayed Gratification, which in all other respects was really very nice.
